the property met my requirements, we would like to stay longer. thanks a lot for the very nice stay on vacation. i really enjoyed my room - impeccably clean and bright with views. the breakfast offers a lot of butter, slices of fresh bread, fruit, and eggs. the staff are nice and the location is excellent very close to the forrest.

Hotel La Rana De Arenal is our go-to place in Nuevo Arenal. The guest room had a stunning view of the lagoon and a lovely garden. The setting is just off Lake Arenal public beach and surrounded by beautiful forest. Plus, it's reasonably priced at USD 37 per night.

I recently stayed at Hotel La Rana De Arenal for a quick getaway. The location was absolutely outstanding, with breathtaking views of Lake Arenal. The well-tended grounds were filled with beautiful flowers and an abundance of birds. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options and a lovely view of the grounds and the lake. The charming Bavarian chalet-style of the hotel made for a unique and enjoyable stay. The trails through the woods were a great way to explore, and the swimming area in the small river was refreshing. I even had the opportunity to hand-feed toucans every morning! The private rooms were reasonably priced and the host was entertaining. It truly felt like stepping into a Wes Anderson film - a hidden gem worth discovering.

Twin beds were really uncomfortable. Only two towels provided in the room and no spares, hand towels or wash cloths.

The rooms, although clean, felt a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. the beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, and the bed linen appeared worn and past its prime.
